SONDERMANN filters are used to remove, by means of depth-type or surface filtration, both organic
and inorganic contaminations from aggressive and neutral liquids. Main fields of application include
electroplating, etching and cleaning plants, sewage and water treatment installations as well as solar,
textile and food industries.

The following filter elements can be inserted into
our filter housings:

wound cartridge, cloth and membrane filters,
paper disks, filter bags and sieves,
activated carbon as granular bed or filter cartridge.

As they are entirely made of plastic, these filter housingsare especially suited to filter aggressive fluids, such as

acids, bases and mixtures,
solvents,
alkaline degreasing baths,
electroplating baths,
foto chemicals,
radioactive, aseptic and precious liquids,
any other thin fluids.

* To meet specific requirements, our universal filter housings are available as types 1, 3, 4, 8, 15
and 32. The type number is identical with the number of filter element slots. This allows you to choose
filter sizes and numbers according to specific demands.

The unit integrates into a tailormade functional module ready to be installed that was developed and produced
in close cooperation with the customer.

Activated carbon filters are especially
used with electroplating baths, but also to absorb organic substances, remove foreign metals and regain precious metals from flushing water.
